The route follows the main road through Kaiseraugst and Biersfelden past the large chemical and pharmaceutical plants. Back on the other side of the Rhine, it becomes quieter again along the meadow in Riehen.

This trail begins in Switzerland in the small border town on the banks of the Wiese river. It starts past the Riehen vineyard then onto German territory. Through sparsely populated area and passing picturesque vineyards the path invites to wander around and also take a peak to France. At Ötlingen, the path turns at the foot of the Tüllner Berg at 452m from where to make the pilgrimage back via Untertüllingen.

The path begins at the Riehen natural pool and leads along the Mühlemattweg along the Wiese river. The natural pool is passed through reeds, sand and other biological filters. iMan follows the path to the Erlensteg, where it then returns via the Wiesendamm Promenade. You get a good overview of the area and can relax wonderfully.
