This route features the eastern mountain bike trails of Dunbar Historical Lake Park. These trails are mostly classified as a "cool down" and have easier and more approachable sections of trails. This makes for a great beginner area and a great place to get acquainted with the trails at the park before heading to the western section.

Eagle Point Trail takes you through the valley to a small natural bridge with views of a creek and perhaps free-ranging buffalo. Begin by the camping area and travel a hilly and flat dirt trail leading to the natural bridge. Make sure to stop at the wooden bench and use the small trail to walk underneath and through the Natural Bridge.
Activities
Features
This is a scenic hike along the Caprock Canyon Rim Trail. If you go down into the lower canyon, the climb is pretty tough to come back the Canyon Rim trail, but not much easier if you return via the equestrian campground and take the road back to the trail start. The best views are in within the first couple of miles, before entering the canyon bottom.

This is a great choice of route for those who wish to view canyon vistas and spot wildlife out on the trail. The trail is flat for the most part with little elevation gain, making it a great pick to bring the family along. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers.
