Between nature and heritage, the stage linking Viviers to Bourg St Andéol is an invitation to stroll, curiosity or endurance. Under vaults of greenery, we meet families walking around as well as experienced cyclists. From Viviers to Bourg-Saint-Andéol over 16km, this section with a strong heritage accent consecrates as many chapels, cathedrals, palaces of these historic cities.

Hike that alternates woods and fields in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, starting from the charming village of Allan. Along the way, you will pass the pretty Château Bizard and its wine estate. You will also see the ruins of the Notre-Dame d'Allan chapel from the 12th century, nicknamed "Barbara chapel".

Mountain bike trail in the beautiful landscapes of Drôme Provençale, starting from the charming medieval village of Allan. On the way, you will pass through several woods, and you will pass through the villages of Montjoyer and Espeluche. You will have some beautiful viewpoints, especially near the summit of Serre Haute (432 meters).

This route is the twelfth stage of the GR® 42, a Great Hike that goes from the town of Saint-Etienne to the seaside resort of Grau-du-Roi, via the balconies of the Rhône. This stage begins in the village of Viviers, and goes to the town of Bourg-Saint-Andéol on the right bank of the Rhône, passing through the Bois du Laoul.

This route in the forest can be practiced on foot as well as by mountain bike and will allow you to discover the ruins of the old village of Allan and its castle as well as the Cross of Simeon. This old village was built between the 12th and 14th centuries but no one lived there from the 19th century onwards due to the difficulty of access to this perched village.
