This fairly long hike starts from the charming village of Cormatin and forms a loop linking the hamlets of Gemaugue, Chissey-lès-Mâcon and Chazelle as well as the Domaniale Forest of Chapaize and the Bois des Varennes. It is a route between fields, meadows and forests so typical of the Burgundian landscape. Do not forget to visit the Château de Cormatin before or after your journey.

An easy walk from the Chapaize car park forms a loop through the Bois de la Chaume and the villages of Bessuge and Bissy-sous-Uxelles. However, it is not very well marked, so we recommend downloading the route map in advance for offline use.
