Going up to the Montaigu dovecote, you will pass by the Pain de Sucre hut, which offers a magnificent view of the Mont d'Or and the city at its feet. Once you arrive in the middle of the ruins of the abandoned castrum of Montaigu, you will see that only one dovecote has been restored and now sits alone, but straight, from the top of its three floors, in the middle of the forest.
