Finally, Simos and I went for a little walk to unwind in Penteli. It had very strong winds, but not so much that it bothered us. Just before we reach the avenue. Dionysos we returned because we found too much mud that prevented us from moving. Nice and very small.

Rependosa Waterfall and Dam at Mt. Penteli (Καταρράκτης και Φράγμα της Ραπεντώσας Πεντέλης) Easily accessible through a gently sloping path, the highest waterfall in Attica, with water falling rapidly into a small pond. Half an hour from the center of Athens, it is well hidden at the end of a gorge. The route goes to the waterfall and then to the Artificial Lake Rapendosa, which is a little further east.

Valanaris Waterfall Loop (Καταρράκτης Βαλανάρης κυκλική) A small and beautiful circular route in southern Penteli, next to the suburb of Drafi. The route starts from the road next to the foot of the hill, where the Valanaris Waterfall is located. It is an unexpected presence of a waterfall, about 6m high, in the Lycorema stream, in an area which has been subjected to great anthropogenic pressures. Drafi - Frangoklissia at Vagiati - Karakanta Spring (Ντράφι - Ασκητήριο Φραγκοκλησιάς στο Βαγιάτι - Πηγή Καρακαντά) From the settlement of Drafi, the route is directed north, going up the hills and the slopes of Mount Parnitha. It passes near the church of Frangoklissia at Vagiati and continues until Karakanta Spring. The course follows forest dirt roads and the return is from the same road, with a small deviation in the last part.
