This is a great exploration of the heart of the city of Mazatlan! You start at the Plaza de Toros, and you go through the entire "Golden Zone" with several beaches and hotels. You can stop at Punta del Sabalo, if you wish. It curves around the marina, where you can admire the various boats and yachts. You end up at Playa Cerritos to lounge on the sand with views of the sea.

This long route is made for scenic driving, or experienced biking. You start in central Mazatlan, and you make a circuit around its wide port, until you reach the Isla de la Piedra, and at the end, the Cerro de los Chivos at the mouth of the port. This hill at the mouth of the port has an impressive crag, and you could leave your car or bike to climb it for beautiful views.

Isla de Venados is a small island that is located in the Bay of Mazatlán, across from the city of Mazatlán.
