The starting point of the route is on the L 771 country road between Saarmund and Tremsdorf at a larger forest entrance, where you can park on the edge after driving in. The path leads past the Ziebchenberg through beautiful forest paths with the typical wild vegetation of the region. It is advisable to take a guide with you and not tackle the route in the dark, as there are no places to stop for refreshments along the way.
