If you are looking for a nice paved open route next to a river, this is the route for you. The trail surface is paved asphalt (with partial edge barriers) and smooth. It is typically at least...

This is a fantastic trail for anyone visiting Twin Creek MetroPark. Hikers often walk the Yellow trail, which is a very nice combination of meadows wooded trails. Most of the loop is easy with a handful of tougher climbs/descents. The trail isn't too challenging, though some of these slopes could be pretty treacherous if wet. Like all Five Rivers MetroParks, the trails are well maintained and very well marked with markers at every intersection.
