This is a short but nice route to do by bicycle on the paved road from Montaldo to Trisobbio. The first part of the route runs along the Rio Stanavasso and then the Rio Merdarolo. Along the way there are many small country churches to visit. We recommend a break in Trisobbio to visit the castle and the village before returning to the starting point.

Surely this route is the most beautiful in this area. It will amaze you with great views, steep climbs, as well as the best halfway cappuccino in Acqui Terme. The departure is from Grognardo, with a stop at the Ovrano Castle where it is possible to taste wines and at Monte Marino (429 m). The return is entirely on a paved road or you can simply return on the same road as the outward journey.
