A pleasant excursion starting from Montalcino. The first half of the route takes place along deserted streets and paths, all well signposted. The second half is a bit more shaded in the forest paths, but it is a bit more hilly. Montalcino and Bagno Vignoni are two wonderful cities, I recommend staying in both and finding many hotels and restaurants. But incredibly I didn't see a soul during the whole journey, amazing!
