This trail goes along Lighthouse Road to the Watch Hill Lighthouse and has a good view of the coast. Lighthouse Road is a private road that is closed to vehicles unless you require accessible parking. The lighthouse is not open to the public, but there is a lighthouse museum. This park has so much room to have picnics, fly kites, and play sports. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Accessibility: There are at least 7 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Great Neck Road at the northwest end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is asphalt, gravel, natural surfaces, or boardwalk (with railings), and typically at least 4 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less)....
