A demanding but very rewarding excursion for the views, starting from Monterosso al Mare. The route takes place along the coast of the Cinque Terre Natural Park and passes through Vernazza and then continues inland towards San Bernardino. From here the path continues towards Groppo and then proceeds for a stretch on the provincial road to reach Riomaggiore.

This is a fantastic hiking trail with breathtaking views of the Ligurian Sea through terraces of grape vines, scenic and colorful towns, churches and ancient towers. A nice walk, on the edge of the mountain with good views. On top of Punta Mesco there is an abandoned building and also the remains of Sant'Antonio del Mesco. A steep climb characterizes the route. The path is well marked and in some sections is characterized by stairs. The route takes place for the most part on the road.

A pleasant excursion following the blue path of the Cinque Terre, starting from Monterosso al Mare. The path becomes narrow after Vernazza and in the summer the route can be very busy. There are some very beautiful views along the entire route. Much of the trail is in direct sun, so bringing enough water is recommended. This trail can be completed in both directions.
