This beautiful route starts at the train station in Bôle and goes along the Sentier du Creux du Cerf to the small, dreamlike pond of Mare du Merdasson. You can take a break in the middle of the forest at the Pre-Vert picnic area. The path then continues along the Chemin du Bioléy back to the starting point. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

The trail starts in Bole at the train station and leads through the cultural landscape through Boudry to the River L'Areuse and then along the river into the forest. The path leads through the forest overlooking the Areuse gorge. It then continues along the foot of the Grande Ecoeurne mountain and below the Signal du Lessy peak which towers over at 1387 meters. A great tour until the path ends up at Noiraigue.

This circular hike in northwestern Switzerland is suitable for the whole family and also for runners. It goes through a beautiful forest and also close to train tracks. Departing from the outskirts of the town of Bôle, head clockwise via the Chemin du Bioley to Chambrelien. From there it goes back to the starting point on the Chemin du Plan du Bois.
