From Montreux station, this walk takes place directly along the shores of Lake Geneva. At the water's edge, the path passes next to the castle Château de Chillion which can be visited. Montreux is known for its excellent location on Lake Geneva and its festivals. The route leads to Caux at an altitude of 1054, known as a spa town. Montreux is a traditional town nestled between steep hills on the shores of Lake Geneva. The city is known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival in July. Magnificent Belle Époque buildings line the beach promenade, lined with Mediterranean flowers, sculptures, and trees.

This is one of the 10 most beautiful mountain passes to climb by bike around Lake Geneva in Switzerland. This super uphill bike route leaves from the Montreux train station then crosses the city and enters the forest. From Chernex, the route follows part of the railway line and passes Les Avants alongside the road. In the end, the climb arrives at the top of the Col de Jaman at 1512 m, passing a few streams. Average percentage of ascent 7.6% and maximum 21%.

This is a very beautiful route in the national park towards Les Avants from Montreux, near Lake Geneva. The path begins at the foot of the lake near the statue of Freddie Mercury and goes up to Avants and Sonloup (1153m). The first part of this route runs along the Gorges du Chaudron.
