This circular route starts at the train station in Veytaux-Chillon, where there is also a car park. First you walk along the Chemin du Scex path and then follow the Parcours Vita Veytaux for most of the way. From there you always have beautiful views of Lausanne and Lake Geneva. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

This fantastic hike starts from the Veytaux-Chillon train station on the heights of Lake Geneva. The first part of the trail follows the Parcours Vita Veytaux then continues through the La Talusaz area and the forest of Raveyre. About half way past there is a good rest stop, the Auberge de Sonchaux (1260m) before reaching the picnic areas of La Chotte (1419m) at the top of the hike. This trail can get a little muddy after a few days of bad weather.

Often the term Via Romea is also used for the destination. The route starts from Montreux in the canton of Vaud to reach Saint-Maurice and the abbey in Valais.

You can drop off your vehicle at Chillon Castle to follow the shores of Lake Geneva to Montreux. Chillon Castle is an island castle located on Lake Geneva, south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud. It is located at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve, which gives access to the alpine Rhone valley. The panorama is breathtaking.

This hike starts at the Glion train station and is great to discover the Gruyère Pays d'Enhaut Regional Park as far as the Rochers de Naye, the Grand Chaux de Naye, the Grottes de Naye and the Col du Bonaudon. The trail passes by Haut de Caux across the river and climbs steadily. There are magnificent views from the Rochers de Naye (2045m) and from the summit of the Grande Chaux de Naye (1982m).
