This is a fun route that travels along a series of loops on the Limestone Bike Trail. While this trail is multi-use, this is an extremely popular route in the area for mountain biking. The trail winds through a beautiful forest and underneath Limestone Knob. There are plenty of hills along the way to get the heart pumping, and many plants and animals to admire in the area.

The Limestone Connector Trail leads to Limestone Bike Trail and Sheltowee Trace along Limestone Ridge. This is an excellent hike in spring to view an abundance of colorful wildflowers that line the trail. In the fall, the leaves display a beautiful autumn scene, making this forest walk an enjoyable and kid-friendly hike.

This is the second of three sections in the Cumberland District on the Sheltowee Trace Trail, starting from Cave Run Lake and ending at the suspension bridge in the Red River Gorge. The trail is well-marked but may be muddy in several sections following heavy rain. There are beautiful views along the ridgeline where you can see the mountains for miles.

This scenic loop follows Cave Run Lake before turning inward and connecting with the Sheltowee Trace trail. Caney Run starts at the Stoney Cove Recreation Area. This path curves and winds along the shores of Cave Run Lake, offering extensive lake views before it connects with Caney Creek. From here, it rejoins the Sheltowee Trace, winds over low hills between quiet creeks, and returns to Stoney Cove.

The Shoreline Trail is an easy out and back trail that follows the lake from Scotts creek marina to what used to be Boat Gunnel picnic area. This trail can be linked with the boat gunnel trail to make a loop. The trail is mostly blacktop but it is old and unmaintained.
