One of Manotick's nicest walks along the Rideau River with lots of evergreens around. Since many of these trails permit dogs off-leash if well-behaved, you should expect to see lots of off-leash dogs, several runners and a couple of cyclists using the area. This route follows trails that are wide and well-maintained trail giving everyone plenty of room to share the trail. Impressive falls estimated at 40 feet tall and 100 feet wide. The walk-in is very easy. It looks like an old service road. Lampson is a shallow and broad-faced falls, which can have huge amounts of water flowing over it during peak melt season in the spring. During the summer, it calms and becomes a much quieter setting.
