This circuit passes through the various hills of Dornach, and through several urbanization areas of the village incorporated into Mulhouse in 1914. The route successively follows 4 markings, and can be traveled in 3 separate sections, going from tram to tram (Station Dornach-University 2.5 km, University-Coteaux 4 km, Coteaux-Gare Dornach 2 km).

This hike starts southwest of Mulhouse. The route passes through Fahnaecker, Glockaecker, Hinter der Vorallmend, Feldmatten, Geiberlen, St. Gallen Chapel and Didenheim, among others. The route continues along the Ill river and through the Bois des Philosophes, before returning to the starting point.
