Pyrgos Sofokleous

Mytilene - Agios Georgios - Charamida Beach (Μυτιλήνη - Άγιος Γεώργιος - Παραλία Χαραμίδας) Cycling route which starts from the center of Mytilene and heads southeast to the southernmost tip of the Amali peninsula, Cape Agrilia. The route follows the main provincial road, which runs mainly along the coast, passing all the coastal settlements and the airport, on the east side of the peninsula, with ample views of the sea and the opposite Turkish coast.

Mytilene (Μυτιλήνη) A route through the city of Mytilene, the capital and port of Lesvos. A first acquaintance with its main monuments and sights: the parks, the squares, the churches, the archaeological sites, the Castle, the wall, the port, the alleys and the buildings. Mytilene - Skala Loutron - Charamida (Μυτιλήνη - Σκάλα Λουτρών - Χαραμίδα) Large cycling loop in eastern Lesvos, starting from Mytilene. The route will go up first to Alyfanta and then will follow the western coastal road axis, passing a little outside the settlement of Loutra and from the coastal settlement of Skala Loutra as well. Mytilene - Ano Chalikas - Rachi - Profitis Ilias (Μυτιλήνη - Άνω Χάλικας - Ράχη - Προφήτης Ηλίας) The route starts south of Mytilene, passes the settlements of Ano Chalikas and Rachi and begins to ascend through a pine forest to the top of Profitis Ilias. Throughout the course, the images from Asia Minor, the Gulf of Gera, the mountains of Lesvos are magnificent. The route does not reach the Prophet Ilias, but passes him to return to the starting point.

Mytilene - Airport - Panagia Amali church - Taxiarches - Melissia (Μυτιλήνη - Αεροδρόμιο - Παναγία Αμαλή - Ταξιάρχες - Μελίσσια) A beautiful route for mountain biking, on the east side of Lesvos, south of Mytilene. The route combines the sea with the mountain, as it goes along the coastline to the south, following the main road to the airport, while then ascends to Mount Amali, through its lush forested slopes and returns north.
