This is the most remote hike in the whole arboretum. Best to experience in summer or early fall for prairie blooming or colors change. Schulenberg Prairie loop is narrow and kept at a natural state (overgrown) but you will feel hard surfaces underfoot - only one person can pass. Acne Trail loop is wide with a mowed grass surface. Admission to Arboretum is per adult and per child. The best value is a membership if coming to visit multiple times.
