Hotel Mont Rouge

Very nice walk in the Nendarde region. Head towards the hamlet of Planchouet and its magnificent mountain chapel! The start of the Bisse du Milieu is about 200 meters after Nendaz Tourisme, opposite the "Pam" supermarket. Stop for a moment in front of the chapel to enjoy the surrounding calm. Take a break to eat in one of the three restaurants in Planchouet before heading back to Haute-Nendaz. We start on the left bank of the canton of Valais in Haute-Nendaz. The route climbs via Saclentse to Planchouet before returning on the other side to the starting point. The course is very wooded and varied in the heart of the Nendaz ski area. The highest point of the walk joins the Printze river.

The trail starts right in the center of Haute Nendaz and then heads out into nature along the Chemin du Dzoc trail. You come over the Les Crêtes du Rô hill at 1358m. The path is particularly exciting for children because you follow the sculpture path with wooden figures along the way. The trail starts in Haute-Nendaz at the de Prameira car park and crosses the settlement. It passes through the forest of Cne de Nendaz and leads close to the small lake Lac de Tracouet. It then enters the forest and then slowly returns to the starting point. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few days of bad weather.

This tour is mostly on dirt roads without single trails but with fantastic views and is very exciting. The route goes via the following places: Haute-Nendaz-Saclentse-Veysonnaz-Thyon200-Siviez-Haute-Nendaz.
