This segment of the Trans Swiss Trail begins at the shore of Lake Neuchâtel. It is a very beautiful itinerary which then joins the lake and the medieval city of Murten via the summit of Mont-Vully. The trail is marked with number two on the yellow hiking signs where it is possible to relax. The route can also be overcome with children.

The trail from the historic Plan mountain railway station coming from Ecluse, which dates back to 1890, first leads into the forest around the view point of Le Plan. Then it's a short stretch on paved roads in the forest Cret du Parc. There the path leads along the fitness course and then back to the beginning.
