Demanding hike to the "High Altar of Tyrol" from Kampl. Phenomenal views from the summit. Bit of a mess after the saddle point but well marked throughout. About 2/3 up there is a fairly exposed section of gravel that is a bit difficult to get traction on. I would recommend bringing trekking poles.

Spectacular circular hike in the quiet area of Kalkkögel near Fulpmes. The promising summit tour leads from the mountain station of the Kreuzjochbahn in Schlick to the Hohen Burgstall and back again via the Starkenburger Hütte. Although the route is not particularly long, it is classified as difficult due to the small climbing passage on the steel cable just before the summit. ------ Cable car ascent/descent
