The Qutb Minar complex is a part of the walled complex known as Lal Kot, often known as the "Red Fort," or Qila Rai Pithora. Between around 1052 and 1060 CE, it was built under the reign of Tomar monarch Anangpal Tomar. It is referred to as Delhi's "First City." Fort wall remnants may be seen in the current Saket, Mehrauli area around the Qutb complex, Sanjay Van, Kishangarh, and Vasant Kunj areas of South Delhi.

This is a beautiful mountain biking trail that takes one through the spectacular Sanjay Van of Delhi. This trail loops thrice in the jungle area and even takes one to a small lake. Verdant green environments make up the surroundings of this location that are not green but highly biodiverse as well with many different species of birds, animals, and plants to explore. There is a small section of this ride that takes one to an off-trail section but other than that the whole trail is on dirt paths.

It is a very different kind of experience as it is a forest area in the metropolitan and the change of scenery from concrete jungle to the natural woody flora and fauna is just surreal and a needed change after a long hectic week. Qutub Complex named after the great Qutub Minar (translating to victory tower), is a complex that houses many other monuments from the Delhi Sultanate period. Each of the monuments has its own extensive history and some of the most amazing craftworks in terms of murals, arts, inscriptions, calligraphy, etc., not only that this craftwork is of a very unique style as well, as it portrays Islamic artistic traditions mainly found in the Arabic monuments, along with the Indian artistic traditions....

This is an amazing park in the Sainik Farm Region that provides an excellent early morning experience. This particular trail is excellent for running, walking, jogging, etc, It is amazing to visit with friends and family as it provides something or the other for all age groups. There are chances of spotting birds but it isn't the main highlight of this park.
