This route has incredible views of the Niagara River, the powerful Devils Hole Rapids, and whirlpool along the way. A stone staircase leads from the visitor center down to the start of the Devil's Hole Trail. The trail can be very busy, especially on the weekends. An early start is recommended to avoid crowds.

Begin by walking along the Gorge Rim Trail with some views of the river before heading down a set of stone stairs leading to the Devil's Hole Trail. Along the Devil's Hole Trail there are some unique rock features and more impressive views of the Niagara River and the rapids below. Please remember to keep a healthy distance from the river and dangerous rapids.
