This undulating road connects the spas of Niederbronn-les-Bains and Morsbronn-les-Bains. The circuit then takes the old Maginot Line railway line which leads to Lembach. Beyond Lembach, silhouettes of castle ruins overlook the road to Obersteinbach at the end of the Steinbach valley. From there, the road changes into the Wineckerthal and Jaegerthal valleys and on to Niederbronn-les-Bains.

The Grande Randonnée 53 trail (GR® 53) is a variant of the GR® 5 which connects Wissembourg to Masevaux, that is to say the north and south of Alsace, passing through the Vosges peaks. This roaming hike, crossing part of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, allows you to pass near ruined castles from which you can admire splendid panoramas!
