This route is made for a scenic bike ride, or scenic drive. You start north of the city of Puerto Vallarta, and cross through the estuary area, and then the central tourist area. Head out of town, hugging the shorelines for the prettiest views of Banderas Bay. Eventually, you will turn inland and continue to the beautiful town of El Tuito. Here, you should rest in the main square and admire the famous tree there that the locals have given the nickname "Maria."
