Comfort Inn Ocala Silver Springs

This is a series of moderate (blue) loops at this mountain biking area. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. For those wishing to extend their route, there are other trail connections in the area to add to the distance.

This is a 15-mile section paved trail with multiple trailheads. Parallel to the paved trail, there are dirt unpaved mountain biking and hiking trails. Accessibility: There are at least 3 designated accessible spaces in the large paved parking lot off of Southeast 80th Street at the northeast end of the trail. This is a series of the green (easy) loop and blue (moderate) loop at this mountain biking area. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended.

This is a popular paddling trail that runs through the heart of Silver Springs State Park. If you rent a kayak, canoe or paddleboard for one or two hours while at the park, you will most likely paddle some or all of this trail. There's a $2 admission fee to enter this area of Silver Springs State Park, plus extra fees for paddle rental.

Walk among the beautiful scenery through tall pines which is one of the main features of the Ocala Forest. There are some deep sugar sand areas along the way which can become an extra challenge. Views are abundant along this short trail. Many sections of this trail are exposed and bringing sun protection is advised.
