Park hours may vary, and there is a parking fee, so it is a good idea to check the park website ahead of time. Plenty of benches and restroom facilities are available on this trail. There is little shade on this trail, so it is a good idea to wear a hat and bring plenty of water. There are some great views of Los Angeles and the surrounding mountains along the way.

This trail to the top of a mountain with a great view has limited parking at the trailhead. You can park along Mount Baldy Road and walk up the road to the trailhead if there is no parking available there. This mapped route takes you along the first short distance up Mount Baldy Road. Keep your eye out for wildlife like acorn woodpeckers and hawks on your trip.
