The trailhead to this trail begins right before the big statue in the parking lot. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. The majority of this hike is along a sandy trail, which passes by dunes and through flatland ecosystems. This is a hike that the whole family can enjoy!

Many users report that this trail can become overgrown and some sections are impassable during certain times of the year. The route is not very well-marked and it is suggested to download the route beforehand to navigate. There are beautiful views across this coastal landscape the majority of the way.

There are two trailhead options- The first location is off of Walter Boardman Ln which connects to the Bulow Trail, and the second one is located in Fairchild Oak Park. Unlike the coastal plains in this area, this trail provides sun relief and is shaded most of the way.

This is an educational nature loop with informational signage along the way that showcases some of the local flora and fauna. Stop along the bridge for a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy this short hike that leads to an observation deck where visitors may catch glimpses of the local flora and fauna. This is a wonderful trail to take in the beautiful surroundings that Bulow Creek State Park offers. For a longer hike, the Bulow Creek Trail can be accessed from the same parking lot.
