A mostly easy trail along this fantastic pond, any locals will enjoy these great views of the beaver pond, especially when the trees are changing colours. There are some sections that travel through some forest, but most of the route is relatively flat. Hikers remind folks that the northern section of the former loop is no longer accessible, so be sure to follow this southern section at all times.

This is a nice meadow and nature loop that happens to be super close to Ottawa, and is a nice short walk or trail run. The boardwalk is definitely the highlight, and you can also avoid this area during the spring and fall by taking the cycle paths instead when the water levels are high. You can extend the trail beyond what is here easily, this specific trail is otherwise very short. There are many different habitats to explore here.
