A network of cycling routes has been defined for the Oulu region, along which you can travel from the city center to the vicinity of Oulu and a little further. There are 12 main spoke-like routes and, five perimeter routes connecting the main routes outside the city center. Route 9 runs from Isokatu via Karjasilta, Höyhtyä, Mäntylä and Kaakkurinkangas to Kaakkurintori and further to Metsokangas. The route continues through Linnakangas and Kokkokangas to Zeppelin.
