A network of cycling routes has been defined for the Oulu region, along which you can travel from the city center to the vicinity of Oulu and a little further. There are 12 main spoke-like routes and, five perimeter routes connecting the main routes outside the city center. Route 4 runs from Rotuaari along Ainolanpuisto and Patosilta to Itä-Tuira, from where it continues through Kynsilehto, Huonesuo, Talvikangas, Hönttämäki, Korvenkylä, Välikylä and Jääli to Kiiminki.
