The Barron Canyon Trail is a short loop that has phenomenal views of the Barron Canyon which was carved out by the waters of the Barron River and is about 100 metres deep. This interpretive trail is well-maintained and has a slight incline on the way to the lookout but is well worth the effort. This is a great place to take the family on a day trip as this trail is very approachable. There are no guard-rails near the lookout so it is recommended to be cautious in this area.

There are a lot of mosquitos in the area, so bringing bug repellent is recommended. The waterfalls and swim hole at the end are worth the journey.
