The Tinguá Biological Reserve in Rio de Janeiro, with an area of 26 thousand hectares, was created to protect the natural heritage of the region with an Atlantic Forest biome. The route starts at Rua Teresa and follows the Três Pedras trail, a very short mountain trail, but with a very steep climb. The Castelinho trail, or Meu Castelo, is a great option for those looking for a quiet route with a phenomenal view of Rio de Janeiro. The path is super well signposted with signs and easy to access. The landscape is enchanting, with a denser forest in the first part and more open in the second. In the middle of the way there is an old dam, where you can refresh yourself. From the top you can see Guanabara Bay, Sugar Loaf, Corcovado and Pedra da Gávea.
