This route consists of a combination of trails. Starting on the Blue Heron Trail, the route then connects to the Otter Trail on the east portion of the area. From here, the trail takes an old dirt road to loop back to the start of the route. Most of the path is exposed to the sun with little shade. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area to observe.
