The route is covered on a paved path, starting near the Mercadão do Produtor, in Cidade Baixa. The path passes through historic centers, along the Guaiba River, and several beautiful parks in the city, such as Parque Farroupilha and the famous Parcão, which are two of the most famous parks in Porto Alegre. The route also offers several stops for photos and food.

The park has numerous attractions such as the Araújo Vianna Auditorium, a small lake, a soccer field and a Japanese Garden. On Sundays, a popular fair attracts many people to the park.

The Embarcadero Pier is on the shores of Lake Guaíba. The place has a small square for children and numerous bars and restaurants. The Pier is frequented by families and young people, especially on weekends. The sunset by the river is beautiful. There is a guardrail separating the path from the river.
