This beautiful challenging scenic route leads up to Becca Pouegnenta also known as Becca Pougnenta (2827m). Before arriving at the top you will find Lake d'Arpy (Arpy Piccolo Nord, Arpy Piccolo Sude) and the magnificent Red Stone Lake (2583m) known for its deep blue color and breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc range and the granite peaks of the Grandes Jorasses.

Beautiful hike, not demanding with a clear path and only a few short steep sections. Arrived at the top of Lake Arpy, which offers beautiful views of the Mont Blanc massif, and there are streams and waterfalls to explore. Crowded on sunny days and parking can be difficult. In autumn or spring it is recommended to wear hiking boots and also poles because the ground can be slippery.

Amazing views and fun, dynamic hike. There are multiple routes to get up and back to the second lake (Pietra Rossa), so you can see different things.
