For incredible 360 degree views of the beautiful Baja California desert, the small community of Marina Puerto Escondido, and the entire bay, you must try this route. It is short, but steep and has lots of loose rocks, so wear proper boots and poles are suggested. You will marvel at the colors - red, brown and green on land, and turquoise in the waters of the Gulf.

Incredible trail will take you to the top of Cerro de La Cruz in Baja California. From the top you will have an incredible view of Puerto Escondido and the beautiful boats that enter and leave the marina. The view of the desert landscape and the sea are so impressive it will take your breath away. Do not forget your sun protection as this route does not have shade.

It starts on the mainland and stops first at a beach at Punta Coyote for a break. Then the route continues to the northernmost tip of the island.

Tabor Canyon Trail is an incredible climb towards the Sierra de la Giganta. It requires climbing and small sections of bouldering, so bring appropriate shoes. This is definitely a favorite hike for Loreto residents and visitors. Follow the stream so you don't get lost, but there are easy paths and more difficult paths.
