This beautiful and pleasant hiking route runs through the narrow canyon that accompanies the Río Velillos. This canyon is located in the Tajo de las Palomas, before the Tajos de la Hoz and runs along a path that goes through a footbridge and ends at the Hanging Bridge. It is recommended to wear good hiking shoes since there are stony sections and with quite a difference in level.

Beautiful and pleasant hiking route around the Jaén town of Alcalá la Real, following the PR-A 414 Río Velillos trail. The route begins next to the Cortijo de la Gineta, and continues through La Cerradura, the Cerro de Vadochiqueros, until reaching the Ribera Alta. The return is along the same path.
