This hike is located northwest of Mulhouse and begins near the Ecomusée d'Alsace. The route passes through Bollwiller, the Saint-Brigide church and Berrwiller, Staffelfelden, among others, and runs along the Thur river, before returning to the starting point. This course is located on the edge of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park.

It allows you both to walk in the countryside around the two municipalities, and to discover emblematic public facilities, as well as places of worship and mining facilities in the potassium basin. The departure and arrival of the circuit are at the Town Hall of Wittenheim.

The route passes by the Château de Bollwiller, Ungersheim, Terril Rodolphe and Terril Alex, among others, which are the result of the accumulation of rubble linked to the activity of the former mines of Bollwiller. The route continues through the Espace culturel Les Chênes and the Baggerloch pond, before returning to the starting point.

The route from Ensisheim allows you to discover the unique industrial heritage of the potassium basin: mining tiles, mining towns, etc. It also allows you to discover its natural resources such as the banks of the Thur, the Nonnenbruch forest or the Seeboden ponds. The route takes EuroVelo 5 along the Thur, and runs alongside the Alsace ecomuseum and the Petit Prince amusement park.
