This route starts from Punta Ala, where you will find one of the best known beaches in Tuscany for fishing (surf casting). You will have a view of the sea for almost the entire route and for other stretches you pass through pine forests until you reach the hills at Poggio del Platone (321m above sea level). Just before Le Bozze (304m above sea level) you will find an exceptional vantage point with an almost 360 ° view over the whole territory.

It starts from the car park near the Fosso di San Nicola and proceeds clockwise until reaching Pian d'Alma, mostly along paths. The return takes place along the Nuovo Alma stream.

The route takes place in the protected natural area of the Scarlino Coast and begins by following the ancient local road of the Dogana della Cavalleggeri which overlooks the Tuscan coast.

The route reaches Punta Ala, passing by Cala Tartanella and the Castle of Punta Ala, which overlooks Cala Torre Troia. From here, the itinerary continues up to the Punta Ala lighthouse. It is possible to admire a beautiful coast panorama along the whole trail.
