This narrow and scenic path leads through a variety of environments found at Windmill Hill Preserve Trail. This is a great little gem hidden in Cedar Hill, Texas with many other trail options to explore in the area. The trails are wide, and there is a decent amount of elevation gain which is great for families with older children.

This is a well-shaded paved path that is popular for walking and cycling. The trail goes by abandoned historical bridges and connects with dirt spur trails for more to explore. Although this trail is heavily used by mountain bikers, hikers are welcome to enjoy the trail as well. If hiking, maker sure to go the opposite direction of the bikers so you can see them coming!
