Prassano Gorge (Πρασσανό Φαράγγι) Prassano Gorge is a very interesting three-hour walk through impressive rock formations, nearby the city of Rethymno. The last Bearded Vultures of the Balkans and eagles have found shelter in this very important biotope. Some relatively hard accesses need attention but in general the route will compensate you with its calmness and beauty.

Rethymno Beach and Marina - Neratze Mosque (Παραλία και Μαρίνα Ρεθύμνου - Νερατζέ Τζαμί) A beach stroll in Rethymnon, from the Platanies area in the east of the city. The route heads west along the coastline, reaching the Marina of Rethymnon. From there it continues close to the sea, turns and enters the Old Town to end up in front of the Neratze Mosque which is currently used as a conservatory.
