This is a really nice way to discover all the towns of the capital area of Iceland. You start next to the ocean in Reykjavík and then go to Kópavogur, which is the center of the capital, cross the charming town of Garðabær and finishes in Hafnarfjordur, the town of the elves, after crossing the center. Icelandic people eat ice creams all the year around and it's perfect to stop in Hafnarfjordur.

This beautiful city walk starts in the center of Reykjavik and goes to Öskjuhlíð forest and the Perlan. Öskjuhlíð is a popular place for the local runners and mountain bikers. Then the path goes to the famous Hallgrímskirkja church and continues along the beach to Seltjarnarnes and finished at the lighthouse. Wonderful view of the Esja mountains.

The track continues along the coast to Seltjarnarnes.
