The trail leads from the Bivio bus station, in Istarska Street in the city of Rijeka, towards the new Turan district of Rijeka. The trail is poorly visited, leading through a wooded area climbing all the way to the railway. From some parts of the trail, there is a beautiful view of the bay. The trail continues downhill towards the Bivio starting point.

This beautiful trail leads from the picturesque village of Volosko to the beautiful Opatija. The trail is also known as the Promenade of Francis Joseph I, and is best known as Lungomare and connects Volosko with Opatija and further towards Ičići, Ika and Lovran. The trail goes all the way along the sea and offers enjoyment of the fresh sea air and the beautiful coastal landscape and its many bays.

The trail starts from the town of Kastav, which is synonymous with rich history, geographical diversity and interesting architecture. Via Crekvina, the path enters the forest and goes towards the Zvirić pass and further towards Mačkova vrh and the village of Breza. The path briefly crosses the asphalt and re-enters the forest towards Škalnica and continues to Klana, from where it returns to Kastav. The trail follows the RPO (Rijeka hiking bypass) markings.
