A pleasant bike ride starting from the Parco degli Acquedotti in Rome to reach Lake Albano. The route crosses the Via Appia Antica where it is possible to admire the remains of the ancient Roman Aqueduct and historical artifacts dating back to Roman times. The itinerary proceeds until the Lake Albano where it goes around in a loop and return to the starting point.

The Parco degli Acquedotti is a beautiful historic park that houses the famous Campagna Romana, or huge ancient aqueducts. The park is located just outside the city of Rome and yet sees surprisingly fewer tourists than many other Roman sites. Along the way, it is possible to visit the Fosso Marrana Waterfall and the Watchtower u Cisterna.

The itinerary starts from the Parco degli Acquedotti, from the entrance on Via Lemonia and follows the Via Appia Antica up to the village of Fratocchie. From here the tour proceeds on stretches of the provincial road that runs alongside Lake Albano and then begins the climb up to Monte Cavo (949m).
