This trail can be done as an out and back or a loop around the Copper Creek Reservoir. There are a few spots to stop for a swim along the trail. There is parking at either end of the lake and the trail can be hiked in either direction. Keep an eye out for rattlesnakes on the trail in the summer months.

This short, family-friendly trail ends at the beautiful, 60-foot Susan Creek Falls. The North Umpqua River is also a popular spot for rafting, kayaking, and fly-fishing. Hikers can continue past the Falls to visit the Susan Creek Indian Mounds, a group of moss-covered rocks that were believed by Native Americans to have spiritual powers and grant visions.
