Hike between woods and vineyards that takes you to the magnificent perched village of Sabran, one of the picturesque sites of the Gard department. In the village, you will see the ruins of the walls of a feudal castle and the Sainte-Agathe chapel. At the top of this village, you will have a superb panorama over the lower valley of the Cèze and the surrounding area.

This hike starts south of La Roque-sur-Cèze, on the banks of La Cèze. La Roque-sur-Cèze was elected among the Most Beautiful Villages of France in 2007. It was in the 11th century that the chapel was built on the top of the rock, while the church at the bottom of the village only dates from 1883. The last part of this route passes in particular near the Castle and the Chapel of the village, before returning to the starting point. To see in the area: - The Sautadet Waterfalls - The Fortress...

This hike from Saint-Michel-d'Euzet in the Gard takes you to the banks of the Cèze. The path between vineyards and forest leads you to the typical village of La Roque-sur-Cèze. The path then takes an overhanging path which dominates a bend in the Cèze. On the way back you will pass near the Cascades du Sautadets. This series of waterfalls and rapids tumble down limestone rocks sculpted by the waves. Please note that swimming is prohibited and signs inform you of possible dangers.

This cycle route between the communes of Bagnols-sur-Cèze and La Roque-sur-Cèze runs along the Cèze and leads to the beautiful Cascades du Sautadet. This chain of waterfalls flows into many water holes of different sizes, dug by the erosion of limestone rock. This route between old stones, mule tracks and swimming is a real treat!
